The work I did on YS Origin was exciting but grueling.
About ten years after its official release, we had the opportunity to bring this emblematic Action-RPG to modern consoles by incorporating certain new features.

The complexity of my work consisting in modifying all the interfaces of the game, passing in particular from the 4/3 format to the 16/9 format, but especially to put everything in HD format. Almost all of the menu’s screens have been reworked in this direction. A new speedrun menu and a leaderboard have also been designed and added.
Obviously everything had to stick as much as possible to the original art direction.

I also recast the HUD, some elements seemed not very readable in the state to me. So I modified them and made the understanding clearer thanks to new icons.

Two physical versions of the game were also planned with our friends from Limited Run Game, a standard version and a collector one.
So I created these two versions and I had a lot of fun on the collector version with the design of the box itself. An artbook has also been created for this version.
